Pretty sure its translated at least most of the way by now, otherwise im not sure how all these people who read it did, because i dont think every one of them knew japanese on the sites i checked after watching the show.

No the LN goes to absolute dog shit right after the point where the anime ended. Its terrible. It would be spell disaster for any company who tried to adapt that trash, and they know it. I agree with you. It is worse than garbage. If they were to make a season 2, they need to go COMPLETELY off the light novels. But the likely hood of season two coming out that is different from the light novels is basically never going to happen. And its better off they don't make a season two if they plan on following the light novelsI got warnings not to read the light novels because of how crap it was, but my curiosity led me to read it anyways. And boy do I regret it, because it kind of ruins my high view of the anime. Well since I made an account just TODAY I can't send a message lol. So here is a very quick summary (I pulled some stuff out of the link).So basically, Nanami becomes completely irrelevant, not mentioned often, and gets kicked out of Sakurasou. Mashiro and Sorata finally date. But Sorata becomes a pervert. The other characters are not too developed. Then Nanami returns, but she is different (cut her hair). Mashiro and Sorata break up. They meet 4 years later. Get back together. The other characters are apparently doing well in life. The end. Its worse when you actually read i lol. Like the link says, it doesn't feel out of place with the anime, but it is still trash.

Why are people getting hopes down becoz of shitty Ln? I hated the LN i agree.. can't they rewrite The LN or anime studio makes a whole new adaptation and story following aftermath of sakurasou... Kanda and shiina's adventures... mini arcs etc... they need to make an endless situation where it doesn't end(Not talking about endless episodes lol)About they never grew up and more adventures.. i mean come on see Pokemon.. they keep making it without making them grew up... i dont see making season 2 very hard... just rewrite it or create a new adaption... and as a matter of fact of success... they keep making it.. they keep getting audience... more than 20k people supported for thr petition.. think about it not all fans and Japanese people have signed meaning there is much more than 20k fans.. people who want s2 but didn't like search internet and all... Just clear me about what is the problem rewriting what happens in s2 if they followed LN or make a own adaptation.. (honestly I think it'd be better for thier own adaption... what I want in next series is more romance between Sorata and shiina).
