Chào mọi ngưới. Tôi tên là Jason và tôi là ngưới Mỹ. Ba me của tôi là ngưới Mexican.
I do not expect Mexican food to be so good in Vietnam because it’s Vietnam. As a Latino American who grew up in southern California/Commiefornia, I know what Mexican cuisine tastes like. I must say, I am very surprised!
The food is pretty good but not mindblowing or a game changer. It’s decent comfort food for Latinos and Mexicans who may miss the taste of their home. The burritos are decent, but you will be served with a fork and a knife, so grabbing and eating it with your hands isn’t much of an option, as there is also some stuff on the burrito.
I do wish there were some Latino drinks like Horchata, but even though there aren’t, the Jalapeño restaurant is a nice, decent place to go and try alone or with friends. The decor is very nice and unique, and the staff are very friendly. I recommend this place for anyone who is ambitious in trying different foods or for someone who’s looking for something a little different.
